Photo by Gary Lever PHOTOGRAPHY - COURSES - WORKSHOPS - PHOTOGRAPHY After its success last year, Chingford Photographic Society will again be running its photography workshops over a six week period during the summer. This is your opportunity to learn to use your camera – be it film or digital. We can assist those who wish to learn about photography with friendly interactive workshops run by our knowledgeable and experienced camera club members. This is an opportunity to learn about photography if you live in the Chingford and surrounding areas. We welcome all ages and abilities. The course, or workshops, are devised to give you the confidence to learn how to use all of the settings on your camera, so that your photography is no longer a collection of snaps, but photographs you are proud of. For further information, and a synopsis of the course, which is a collection of workshops, please click here. This link includes further details and the course overview, together with an application form. The cost of the workshops are £50 if paid in advance, and £60 for joining on the day. This also includes six months club membership. The workshops will be run on 6 Monday evenings, 8 – 10pm , commencing on 18th July 2011 . If you have any questions, or for further information, contact us by clicking on the 'Contact' link at the top of the page, or telephone: John Killingback on 0208 599 5643 ( Mobile: 07778 497402) or Chris Lafbury on 020 8524 2359 ( Mobile: 07843 662633). About the Society A club with a wide range of Photographers with an even wider range of styles, we welcome Photographers from all walks of life to a Society where it's the photo that matters, not the camera. With regular in-house competitions for both projected images and prints, also inter-club competitions and weekly meetings with guest speakers. Why not come for a couple of Monday evenings, with no obligation to join, and see what we are all about. Interested in being a model for the club's photographers? Then please see the "Portrait Studio" page. All members have the chance to display their photos on the World Wide Web with the Society's web site.
